For some reason I was tired this morning? Delhi is GMT + 5.5 hours – so the jetlag is not present… But still.

I have found Delhi and India to be a mixture of Bangkok and Cairo – not as crowded as Cairo, despite there are 19.5 mio. people living in Delhi! But just as poor. And traffic is – eh – challenging, like Bangkok, but not as bad as Cairo… The poverty is alarming everywhere in the 3rd world, and also Delhi. There are beggers everywhere.

My used my first full day to get a city tour. I visited a number of “must-see” sites, like the Samahdi of Mahatma Gandhi, The Red Fort and several temples. Beautiful – and a big contrast to buildings, streets and people.
